         <title>The Last Photos</title>
<link>http://fotos-al-dia.com/index.php?page=article&amp;id=34</link>         <description><![CDATA[ <img src="http://fotos-al-dia.com/images/photos/photo-34-1.jpg" alt="#" /><p>Well I don&amp;#39;t think I will be revisiting any of my Argentina photos in the future (for the use of posting to this blog), minus the scans that I will be doing of my medium format photos in the coming weeks.&amp;nbsp; Photographically speaking the 5 months I spent in Argentina were nothing exceptional.&amp;nbsp; Argentina is a beautiful country with an endless supply of gorgeous photo opportunities.&amp;nbsp; But I accepted early on into the trip that I was not there to photograph, I was there to take in the culture and the language as an observer on the first hand level, not as a photographer from the outside.&amp;nbsp; So I found that there were countless times when either I did not have a camera or I opted to simply enjoy the sights with my own eyes (this is a selfish reason I admit).&amp;nbsp; I do not regret it; the photographic outcome of the trip was not what I was expecting, but in no way does that diminish my love and respect for the country that I had the privileged to live in for 5 months. And if anything I am now motivated more than ever to pick up a camera and make pictures.&amp;nbsp; So be expecting frequent updates to this site in the future (especially of Eagle Bluffs in Missouri--I am coming after you).&amp;nbsp; Hasta luego.</p> ]]></description>

<link>http://fotos-al-dia.com/index.php?page=article&amp;id=33</link>         <description><![CDATA[ <img src="http://fotos-al-dia.com/images/photos/photo-33-1.jpg" alt="#" /><p>These are a few photos I took with my point-and-shoot digital camera around the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo campus during my last day on campus.&amp;nbsp; Of all &amp;quot;las facultades&amp;quot; that are on campus: the students of filosof&amp;iacute;a y letras, and especially ciencias politicas and ciencias economicas are known for expressing themselves very freely by pasting the walls of the buildings with signs, banners, posters etc...&amp;nbsp; Earlier in the semester there were banners that ran the entire 3 story height of the law building.&amp;nbsp; Just thought that these pictures provided an interesting insight into the life of a foreign student within the Argentine public education system.</p> ]]></description>

         <title>La Fiesta Nacional de La Vendimia</title>

The performance lasted nearly 2 hours and involved over 850 dancers/performers, it all ended in a 25minute firework show.  La Vendimia is a yearly event that includes multiple events lasting over a week and culminating in the election of a Reina or Queen of the Vendimia.</p> ]]></description>
